Erika Lee Krebs is a Best-Selling Author, Creator of Fresh Start, and a mom of three. She also writes “Ask Erika”, a family lifestyle column which is featured on Generation Veggie. Her Best-Selling book, Fresh Start: Farm-to-Table, Plant-Based Recipes is the first vegan cookbook to top the “Baby Food” general category rather than just “Vegan Food”, pushing the mainstream envelope for the plant-based community. Her newest journey is a children’s book series, “The Adventures of Zozzy and Baz…and Sissy Too”. When not writing, Erika and her husband, Michael, are chasing after their inspirations, twins Oliver and Sebastian, and little Phoebe Joyce.
Erika loves hugs and has been known to hug strangers and trees. She openly admits to loving ugly dogs and is happy that her husband doesn’t believe that the same goes for him. Erika wants to break the Midwest stereotype of “meat and potatoes country” and be known more as what they really are - “nice people”. Most recently, she cried tears of joy when she heard the announcement that Guinness has gone vegan. Erika’s dream is to someday sleep through the night.
